Biography of Sakyamuni Buddha

Then the Buddha called the monks and gave them many important instructions. He encouraged them to practice the Buddha's teaching for the benefit of all people in the world, and help others to learn and practice the Dhamma. He also encouraged them to serve as good examples for the people of the world. Finally he repeated: "All things are impermanent. You must practice and learn diligently. Guard your own minds, do not be heedless, so that you can be freed from suffering and rebirth."
